We had a fabulous time at Monte Terras Tronadora. The location was perfect, being close to major tourist attractions such as hot springs and the volcano, and even close enough for a day trip to the beach. The owners were incredibly friendly and always willing to help out with suggestions for activities. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The breakfast, especially the pancakes, was absolutely delightful. We also enjoyed the stunning view from the property and the tranquil atmosphere.
We did notice a damp smell in the room and encountered some spiders and ants, which was slightly unsettling.

The owner, Kees, was extremely helpful and friendly, even showing us a sloth in the hotel yard. The location is great as a base camp for exploring nearby sightseeing spots, and we saw monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife while walking around. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the pool area offered a relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend this family-run bed and breakfast.

Amazing views of the surrounding area, especially the stunning Lake Arenal. The owner, Kees, is extremely knowledgeable about the local area and provided us with great recommendations for exploring.- The breakfast served at the B&B was absolutely lush and delicious.
We found some minor issues with the accommodations, such as a lack of lighting in the kitchen and a missing shower curtain. We had a negative experience with one of the owner's dogs, as it was overly excitable and nipped at us and our belongings upon arrival.

The hotel host was very welcoming and made our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and had a nice little patio to relax on. The location was relatively quiet and close to restaurants. The parking area was a bit tight and could be challenging to maneuver in. There was a sewage smell in the bathroom at times, which was unpleasant.
